Photos: Winners emerge for Mr and Miss IMSU 2016

It was an event fit for kings and queens at the Imo State University Auditorium on 14th September, 2016 as the grand finale of this year's tightly contested Mr and Miss IMSU 2016 Pageant (The Extra-Ordinary version) was held.

The grand event had in attendance an amazing crowd of up to 3,000 individuals from across the country and from diverse fields of endeavour who came to witness the making of the new king and queen of one of the most populated universities in Nigeria.

Mr and Miss IMSU 2016 organized by GistGate Media Group (GMG), the parent organization of news site GistGate.com, in conjuction with Imo State University Students Union Government 16th republic will go on in history as one of the best events ever to take place in the University.

The event which started by 12pm and lasted to 8pm and had amazing performances and appearances by the 24 contestants who made it to the grand finale.

The 12 males and 12 females battled fiercely and there was no dull moments and when the winners were announced there were outbursts of jubilations, tears, shouts.

Mr Benjamin Adimoha and Miss Marian Nwawuihe emerged Mr and Miss IMSU 2016 respectively.
Tochukwu Nnamdi emerged Duke of IMSU (1st Runner Up Mr IMSU 2016) and Miss Tobechi Chukwuocha emerged Duchess of IMSU (1st Runner Up Miss IMSU 2016).
Mr Darlington Metu emerged Baron of IMSU (2nd runner up) while Miss Christabel Onukwe emerged Baroness of IMSU (2nd runner up).
There were other titles won by other contestants also.
